Lina Nicander is a passionate traveller with a great interest in languages, culture, art, architecture, nature, and history. She has a great love for photography and sharing knowledge, experiences, and stories. In 2018, Lina published her first book about Sri Lanka, ”Explore the Beauty of Sri Lanka”.

In 2011, she made her first of many trips to Sri Lanka. It was the beginning of a lifelong love affair. Later, she and her young family moved to Colombo to gain a deeper understanding of the island. Explore the Beauty of Sri Lanka – Heritage, Culture and Nature is her debut book, inspired by her time on the island.

The work with her second book ”Venice – Impressions of Timeless Beauty” is a continuation of her endeavour – Photography, stories with a holistic perspective on history, architecture, art, and craft where beauty and timelessness are in focus. It is a pictorial journey through the timeless beauty of Venice. Celebrating the light, art, history and city’s uniqueness in perspective and close-up. Italy has a special place in her heart, expressed in this book.

Lina is the founder and co-partner of a successful marketing and communications agency in Sweden.
